Kevin Fuhrman has over 20 years of percussion instruction experience. He has worked with all age levels, from grade school to the drum corps level. He has worked with over 25 different groups in almost any situation (percussion ensemble, class instruction, clinics/seminars, fall marching band, winter drumline, and summer street marching, to list a few) Currently, he is coaching Coon Rapids High School Drumline year-round. In the past six years they have consistently been rewarded with top awards in competition. Mr. Fuhrman is committed to percussion excellence in teaching and performing; this shows through in all he has done and continues to do.

If you are in need of instruction, arranging or composition, please consider using Fuhrman Music as your resource. Every Band Director has been extremely pleased with the way Mr. Fuhrman operates. There are plenty of people who do teach, but it is rare to find someone with as much experience in helping shape percussionists into fine musicians.

Coming soon will be instruction books for Marching Snare, Marching Tenors, Marching Bass Drum, Marching Cymbals, Keyboards, Timpani and Auxiliary Percussion. All of these will be based on a no-nonsense approach to reading, technique, rudiments and music.

Also in the future release plans are Style-based ensemble warmups. A drumline can have a warmup routine that fits musically with the show plans for the season: Rock, Swing, Latin, Classical, Broadway, and others. They all will include beginning to advanced level exercises to further their musicianship while they warmup.
